Where is the Petaluma Veterans Day Flyover?
Petaluma Municipal Airport 069 . Take the Washington Street exit and proceed aprox 1.5 miles
east and turn right (look for airport sign) onto Skyranch road and proceed to the parking areaat
the end of the road. You may also park at no charge along the right curb.
What time is the event?
Sunday November 11th between 8:30am and 2pm.
Are Pets Allowed at the event?
Only guide dogs and certified companion dogs that are always on a leash.
Is the Flyover airport grounds wheelchair accessable?
Most Defenitely.
Are bicycles and other motorized vehicles allowed?
Only tenants who have aircraft or businesses on the airport are allowed the use of these vehicles.
Can I bring food onto the airport?
Yes, but Alcoholic beverages aren’t allowed. Coolers or backpacks are subject to search before
entry is allowed.
Will there be any food or drink available?
Yes we have a fabulous restaurant on the field called 29er Diner which can provide you with sustenance
and beverage.
Is smoking permitted?
No only outside the airport facility but not allowed on the ramp!
Is there a childrens play area?
No and we ask that you keep a careful eye on your children to prevent them from running off where
planes could be taxiing and getting lost.
Will the airport remain open?
Yes and the runway will be active at all times!
Will there be a NOTAM in effect during the fly bys?
Yes, during the hours of 1-2 pm there will be one in effect to make other pilots aware of activities
within the 3-5 mile radius that surrounds the airport.
Will there be a place to store valuables?
No
